If the point of the article is to highlight the incredible wasted money by universities you nailed it. Of course, the universities just are pigs at the trough. When the government subsidizes loans made to individuals who have no chance of paying off the debt AND society continues to reward people who spend 4 hedonistic years learning practically nothing what do you expect? There's no accountability for universities to either educate students or use public funding wisely. What if...universities were required to assume part of the financial risk when students are loaned stupid amounts of money for a degree in some low paying career?

My biggest problem with this article however is the total lack of ambition demonstrated by the author who, rather than use the time he had in a creative or constructive way to make his job interesting and perhaps bring some value to his employer, he chose to squander it.

Makes me wonder who wastes more.
